Kia ora & welcome

I’m Chris, a writer and conservation worker currently based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington, New Zealand. In one of my previous lives, I worked as a software engineer at Apple from 1999 to 2019. In other previous lives, I was a pizza delivery driver, a bicycle mechanic, and a parrot breeder.

As social media doesn’t seem particularly social anymore, I’m hoping this will be a good way to reconnect with my friends I’ve lost touch with in recent times. Instagram is a good place to fill in the gaps from the last few years until I flesh out the stories here.
